The Animal Hospital of Sussex County, which is accredited by the AVMA as a teaching hospital for the Long Island Veterinary School, is seeking an associate veterinarian to join our team! We are a dedicated group of over 30 caring & experienced individuals, including 6 veterinarians, who would love to mentor a recent graduate and share their love and compassion for our veterinary profession. All of our veterinary expertise shows in our level of caring, and we strongly promote and support all of our veterinarians’ diverse interests. (We are seeking a full-time small animal veterinarian, with an option if you would like to see large animals as well. We also service two of the largest animal sanctuaries in NJ as well as a small zoo! Please note, large animal care is NOT required.)
We are a full service, AAHA accredited hospital practicing high-quality medicine with a special focus on patient care & learning new skills. We offer surgery (from routine to emergency & orthopedic), cryosurgery, dentistry & preventative medicine using up-to-date technology (including laser therapy, 2 digital x-ray machines, digital dental x-ray 4, ultrasound & endoscopy).
