As the leader of the health care provider team, veterinarians must orchestrate the delivery of patient care and client education to provide optimum care. Veterinarians will be expected to deliver medical care, with surgical and dental abilities preferred, while playing a key role in client education. Veterinarians must build a positive, professional relationship with clients, referral partners, and staff members to contribute to the wellbeing of patients.

All position applicants must have a valid Doctor of Veterinary Medicine license or equivalent in the state of Ohio. Veterinarians are expected to maintain their qualifications through continuing education. Experience as a DVM in a small animal practice setting is desirable, but not required. Typing skills and some computer knowledge is required. This position requires lifting, carrying, and restraining animals, and may require being on your feet for extended periods of time.

Evergreen Veterinary Hospital is an established, compassionate, small animal practice nestled in Centerville, Ohio. We are a 3-doctor practice, hoping to expand! Our practice is predominately cats and dogs, but we have several clients with rabbits and pocket pets. Our services include surgery, dentistry (including digital dental x-ray), radiography, laser therapy, preventive medicine, appointment-based exams, in-house laboratory. Our hours of operation are M-R 8a-6p, F 8a-5p, and Saturday 8a-12p.
