Blue Flint Animal Hospital is hopeful to find an experienced and motivated leader to join our team as practice manager! Our ideal candidate would be a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM), or an individual who is currently in the process of obtaining their CVPM. The role of practice manager is vital and complex within the veterinary practice. As a privately owned practice, the practice manager plays an integral role in overseeing day to day operations as well as other areas of business to include human resources, finance and marketing.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaborate with practice owner to set goals, create budgets and manage projects.
Report monthly, quarterly and annually on overall practice health to include practice performance reports and profit and loss statements.
Establish and maintain vendor agreements.
Ensure practice compliance with regulatory agencies to include AAHA.
Frequently review policies and procedures for most up to date information.
Oversee and assist inventory supervisory with budget adherence and appropriate stocking.
Manage accounts receivable.
Hire, retain and terminate team members as necessary utilizing appropriate methods.
Perform performance evaluations.
Payroll Processing.
Resolve client issues.
Manage social media accounts.
Ensure proper maintenance of computers, software and apps that are essential in day to day function as well as other equipment.
In addition to the above, the practice manager should possess a good work ethic, strong leadership skills, be organized, have a strong commitment to the client experience and be capable of building a positive culture.
