Holmdel Veterinary Clinic is looking for a passionate, energetic, part-time or full-time veterinarian to join our progressive, well-established, and growing small animal practice.
Dr. Luciano Sturla took ownership in 2015, and together with his team, has reinstated Holmdel Veterinary Clinic as a cornerstone for high-quality veterinary care serving the Monmouth County area. Before transitioning back to general practice, Dr. Sturla worked as an emergency hospital doctor for over 25 years in northern New Jersey and before that, he owned a general practice clinic in Turin, Italy for an additional 10 years. His easy-to-work-with personality, strong work-ethic and years of clinical and surgical experience provide a welcoming collaborative and learning environment.
Working closely with pet owners, we often go above and beyond to provide personalized care that is tailored to each pet and pet owner’s needs. Thus, scheduling and appointments are approached with the mindset to provide the highest quality patient and client services rather than the underlying finances. This is a proud feature of the Holmdel Veterinary Clinic which we believe distinguishes us from the ever-expanding corporate domain.
We are looking for a team-player with experience in general medicine or a new veterinary graduate with an eagerness to learn. Surgical experience is welcome, but not required. The part-time and full-time position require an average commitment of 25-28 and 34-38 hours per week, respectively, including Saturdays. New Jersey veterinary license or in-process of obtaining licensure is required.
The right individual should possess a friendly, compassionate and positive attitude. Be dedicated to provide personalized high quality patient medical care while being willing to take the time to communicate and educate clients. We are a small but close-knit team; thus, teamwork and communication are fundamental parts to the success of the practice.
