CVETS was born out of a passion to create a vibrant and modern veterinary hospital that could provide the highest level of medicine and create a pleasant environment for our team. Our hospital was founded by husband-and-wife team Dr. Mike Schlicksup (DACVS), and Dr. Tracy Schlicksup (DABVP). Dr. Mike works as one of our surgeons, and Dr. Tracy leads our emergency team. CVETS provides 24-hour emergency care and has 11 specialty services. You can expect to work shoulder-to-shoulder with the leaders of our hospital, so you are constantly seen, heard, and valued directly by those directly at the top.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a dynamic, client service manager. This individual must have extensive customer service experience and demonstrated ability to lead and drive a service team to success.
The individual in this role is responsible for maintaining high levels of genuine quality service, while meeting or exceeding company standards. This leader will set the direction and lead efforts to continuously improve the client/patient experience.
You'll Set the Tone For Our Staff
The Client Service Manager upholds the culture and sets the direction for the team by clearly defining objectives and setting and refining process to ensure the success of the team. The Manager is responsible for managing and motivating individuals while delivering high levels of service to our patients and clients.
Primary Responsibilities of the Client Services Manager
Oversees, provides, and participates in the training of current and new staff.
Monitors and evaluates client/employee interactions, makes recommendations/suggestions for improvement.
Collaborates with management in the development and implementation of action plans related to performance improvement activities.
Optimizes resource allocation to achieve maximum productivity of workforce while meeting the evolving needs of the business.
Redirects team as necessary to achieve client service goals.
Act as an ambassador for the company, providing world-class service to all customers.
Assist customers with a variety of transactions through a seamless and friendly experience.
Defuse customer situations and provide resolution in a timely and effective manner.
Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used.
Inspire trust, teamwork, and positive team relationships.
The ability to effectively build relationships with your customers, peers, and leadership.
Motivate and inspire others.
Clear, effective communication with strong interpersonal skills
The ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

We utilize a SmartFlow system for patient status and monitoring, and all of our records are done through EzyVet. This makes organization and patient care for our hospital easier.

CVETS, Columbia Veterinary Emergency Trauma and Specialty, is a new Specialty/ER hospital looking to add to our team. The brand new 9000 square foot facility opened in May of 2018 and is growing rapidly. The facility includes a dedicated ICU, multiple operating rooms, a radiology suite, dedicated facilities for endoscopy, chemotherapy administration and special procedures, ultrasound, a 16 slice CT scan, on-site MRI and support by multiple additional specialists (24-hour emergency, internal medicine, oncology, ophthalmology, surgery, dermatology and radiology). The hospital is located on the northeast side of Columbia, South Carolina - an area that is rapidly growing and was not previously serviced by specialty care. The hospital and its staff have been
designed with a culture aimed at exceptional client services and personal job fulfillment.
