Alamo Area Veterinary Clinic located in Castroville, Texas is a well-established, full-service veterinary hospital that provides compassionate, comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care to small animals and equine patients. Our facility has all the up to date equipment needed to provide high quality care and service including a well-stocked pharmacy, surgery suite, digital x-rays and dental x-ray capabilities, and IDEXX labs. We have a compassionate team that takes pride in providing top of the line care. The fun and professional atmosphere provides a rewarding work life experience. Our hours are very work-life balance friendly, Monday- Friday and we understand every one has different scheduling needs so we can be very flexible. New graduates will enjoy our excellent mentorship!!

The ideal candidate will have a passion for equine medicine and a willingness to see a majority of equine caseload although we are open to you seeing both equine and small animal cases.
