Mt. Pleasant Animal Hospital is a four veterinarian, small animal practice in Fairfield, Ohio – part of the Greater Cincinnati area. We are a full-service hospital that has been in the community since 1969. We practice high quality medicine and surgery at an affordable price and have a tremendous local reputation. All of our doctors (and retired doctors) are Ohio State graduates and have spent their careers at Mt. Pleasant. We have a loyal staff of more than 30 employees – including 3 RVTs. All prior veterinarians have eventually purchased into the practice as partners/owners and the potential to continue that tradition is available (but not required). We would welcome either a new grad or seasoned professional and are willing to mentor as necessary. We all consult and collaborate daily on cases to take care of the hospital’s cases. Each of us brings a different set of strengths to the table which is ideal for patient care.

In addition, we acquired a more rural mixed animal practice about 20 minutes from Mt. Pleasant Animal Hospital – Paddy’s Run Veterinary Care. We all share time at that hospital and two of the veterinarians see large animal (production/food animal – cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, 4-H pets, and the occasional pleasure horse). A new vet joining us would have the opportunity to work at either hospital but unless a desire for mixed practice is there, a full time position at Mt. Pleasant Animal Hospital would best fit our needs.

Performing surgery is not required but we would be happy to help build your skills and confidence!
