Central Toronto Veterinary Referral Clinic (CTVRC) is looking for an Emergency Veterinarian to join our amazing team!
Responsibilities include both primary and referral emergencies and care of our in-hospital referral patients. You will be working with highly specialized and experienced veterinarians and technicians with access to onsite Ultrasound, digital radiography and computerized tomography, surgical suite(s), state-of-the-art monitoring equipment, and in-house blood testing, including blood gases.
Applicants should have a solid knowledge base in veterinary emergency medicine. The applicant should possess a progressive attitude, be team orientated, and exhibit rigorous clinical judgment. If you are self-motivated, have strong interpersonal communication and excellent customer service skills, we want you on our team. We are looking for a full-time day position, or a part time day or swing position. (Day hours are 7am-7pm, swing hours are 2pm-2am during the week and 9am-9pm or 4pm-2am on weekends). Who are we?
CTVRC is a boutique state-of-the-art referral hospital that specializes in internal medicine, surgery and anesthesia. It is affiliated with a 24/7 emergency hospital. The hospital is equipped with digital radiology, ultrasound flexible and rigid HD video endoscopy, including equipment for minimally invasive urology techniques, 32 slice CT scanner, Video Fluoroscopy, Ho-Yag and Diode Lasers, and full in-house and external lab capabilities.
We are in the process of building a new 30,000 square foot facility where we will relocate CTVRC! We are actively growing our group of specialists to include Critical Care Specialist, Oncologist, Nutritionist, and Cardiologist.

You will be joining a very skilled group of Emergency Veterinarians who support each other at all times and organize journal club and other meetings to help everyone grow professionally.
We support candidates wishing to participate in the American Board of Veterinary Practitioner Emergency Qualification.
Interested candidates should have strong communication skills, an energetic attitude, empathy, compassion, and enthusiasm for helping clients and patients alike.
