I wish to fine associates who are very enthusiastic about practicing quality medicine.  I will glandly mentor new graduates and help them meld their current knowledge with my years of learning and practical experience. In this way we all can have the opportunity to continue learning and practice a higher level of medicine. I feel we should offer our clients new advancements in the care of their animals and to this end I am constantly trying to bring in new services that will enhance their care. This will give a new associate the opportunity to pursue a personal area of practice in which they wish to excel in.

This part of Missouri has several clear water streams and lakes along with a lot of state and national forest land. Mountain View has a population of around 2400 but we draw from towns as far as 60 miles from us. We have built our reputation on delivering the best medicine for our patients and service for our clients.  Our practice is growing, and we average 30-35 new clients a month.

The gross of the practice is 35% large animal and 65% small, and the services are 85% small and 15% large.  There is opportunity for expansion in both of these areas.  The large animal consists mainly of establishing and maintaining heard health programs, nutritional consultation and providing routine services for our clients. For our companion animal clients, we provide routine services as well as diagnosis and treatment of sick animals. We also do routine and advanced surgery, including orthopedic. We have in house diagnostic equipment for large and small patients, as well as digital and portable x-ray facilities. 

The compensation package will include salary, negotiable depending on experience, signing bonus, retirement plan, medical insurance allowance, CE allowance, AVMA dues, BNDD license, Missouri license and Paid vacation.  The practice is large enough to support two veterinarians and would easially grow to three.  I am looking for someone who would like to become an owner in the next few years and will do everything possible to help that happen.
