Appleseed Veterinary Hospital, Inc. is seeking a full-time small animal Associate Veterinarian for a busy two-location practice.  We are a well-established and equipped hospital using a team approach in caring for patients thru treatment, surgery and preventative care. 

Our offices are midway between Columbus and Cleveland with close access to I-71 (Lexington and Bellville, Ohio).  Our Lexington location is a beautiful, newly constructed facility featuring updated equipment, surgery suite, treatment room and additional exam rooms, boarding suites and doggie daycare. Our Bellville hospital has been remodeled to add an additional exam room and updated interior while still maintaining a small town feel.

In addition to well animal/sick animal examinations, treatments and vaccinations we offer a surgery schedule four mornings weekly, ultrasound, endoscopy, digital radiography, in house blood screening, orthopedic surgeries, boarding/hospitalization and after hours emergency service.

Employment requires an emphasis on delivering quality patient/client-centric services through excellent clinical, surgical and diagnostic skills.  Enthusiasm, positive attitude, strong work ethic and compassionate care are a must. Experience is helpful but not required. New graduates are welcome as our Doctors believe in mentoring.

Hours average 32-38 weekly and include every other Saturday. The position also adds one week monthly of emergency duties with additional income.  We offer competitive salary commensurate to experience as well as benefits including 2 weeks paid vacation, insurance allowance, IRA, veterinary medical licensing fees, CE compensation, OVMA/AVMA dues and DEA licensing fees.

Our Doctors are brothers, Abel D. Hittinger, D.V.M. and Jobe A. Hittinger, D.V.M. who are graduates of Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine.
