Dr. Daniel Lohnes is a 1982 graduate from the University of Illinois. He is from Pekin, IL and owned Lohnes Vet Service as a solo practitioner. Dr. Lohnes is a missionary and travels to Honduras twice a year. He takes veterinary students once a year and they spay, neuter, vaccinate, and deworm animals in the surrounding villages. Once a year he helps on the ranch to improve farming practices and increase job opportunities. He is a huge Cardinals and Illini fan.Dr. Brittany Meyer is 2014 graduate from the University of Illinois and joined Lohnes Vet Service shortly after graduation. She is from the Chicago suburbs and loves living in the country and working on both large and small animals alike. She bought into the practice in 2016 and has changed the name to CVVS. She enjoys going on runs with her dog and being active. She also volunteers with the Chicago VMA Pet Loss Grief Support helpline and talk to grieving people about the loss of their pets.
