Animal Care Center and Pet Resort  in Joppa, MD is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team. We are a full-service animal hospital that welcomes pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Our doctors have many years of experience treating various conditions and offering regular pet wellness care. One of our veterinarians offers holistic services, such as chiropractic care and acupuncture.

Our team works very well together.  Our solid and dependable hospital staff also has a diverse set of skills and many years of experience in the industry. They are a huge part of our success.  Because everyone genuinely gets along well with each other, it is common for us to participate in a wide variety of social activities throughout the year, such as holiday and summer parties, team building activities to include Pickle Ball tournaments, bowling, axe throwing, go-cart racing, and the list goes on.

We also have a 7,000 square foot state-of-the-art hospital that makes it easy for us to provide excellent care.  Our clients are pretty special too and they continue to help us grow.  

Ideal candidate will work during the week plus every third Saturday and be able to conduct the following procedures: routine procedures, spay & neuter, dental extractions. This is a fantastic hospital with a great opportunity to help many pets and their families. 

Joppa, MD is a diverse area located close to the metropolitan cities of Baltimore, Washington DC, Annapolis, and Philadelphia, however, you are two hours from the beach and the mountains.  Within 20 minutes from Animal Care Center and Pet Resort you can live in a city neighborhood, waterfront property, rural farmland, and all options in between.  There are many outdoor activities including hiking in state parks, participating in water sports, horseback riding and much more.  The school system is great and the community is very family-centered.
