5th Avenue Animal Hospital is a full-service, multi-doctor, mixed animal practice that has been providing quality veterinary care in Central Pennsylvania for over 50 years. This practice is privately owned and has a close-knit team of professionals that offer mentorship and collaboration among colleagues. We are proud to offer outstanding care for companion animals, which is growing very quickly at our practice, and accounts for ~50% of our workload. We also offer routine dairy herd checks, herd health plans, sick exams, and emergency services accounting for ~40% of our work. The remaining 5-10% is split between beef animals, goats, sheep, and pigs.

We have an excellent support staff who are skilled and knowledgeable in all species that we work with. Many of our employees have been with us for over a decade! Our clinic offers in house bloodwork, digital radiographs, ultrasound, and haul in facility for large animal species.

We could support an experienced associate veterinarian with room for growth and professional development, or provide a great learning opportunity for a new or recent graduate.
