Skiatook Animal Clinic (“SAC”) is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian
About the Clinic:
In 1982, a rural practice was organized into Skiatook Animal Clinic. Today it remains a family practice striving to be a place of hope and healing for our patients, clients, and employees. SAC is a mixed-animal practice offering service to a broad demographic of clientele from surrounding rural areas and urban communities. Our patients range from companion animals to livestock and show animals. The Associate Veterinarian is supported by a team of technicians that assist in the placement of catheters, operation of our CR X-ray processing system, in-house CBC/Chemistry lab equipment, ultrasound machines, on-site large animal hydraulic facilities, and two fully equipped mobile units for farm/house calls. SAC offers routine scheduled visits, surgeries, dentals, and limited emergent care.
About the Position:
New graduates and experienced Veterinarians are welcomed and encouraged to apply
Full-time or part-time schedule considered
Mixed animal or small animal focused considered
No after-hours calls, No on-call rotations
Surgical experience preferred, but not required
30-minute appointment time blocks
Veterinarian and Practice Manager lunch meetings regularly
Case load carefully managed
1 hour lunch breaks
Salary based on experience - potential for bonuses based on production
