We are a private practice that has served this community for over 50 years. We proud to say that we have cared for 3 generations of clients and their pets. Our goal is to provide compassionate, professional care for our patients while providing a good education to their owners about responsible pet ownership. We have dedicated ourselves to a low stress handling approach in our interactions with all pets.
Our staff is our strongest asset. We have many staff members who have been with us for more than 15 years. We currently have two staff members who will be celebrating 35 years with us! Our staff is knowledgeable and leveraged, making it possible for our veterinarians to focus on patient care. We currently have 3 veterinary technicians and 1 in training. Monthly staff meetings and manager meetings help us to continue to focus on providing the best possible service and also to manage the day to day issues that every organization can face. Our goal for each day is to do our best with a smile on our face and go home on time at the end of the day!
South Bend/Mishawaka is the home of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish but also home to St Mary's College, Bethel College and IUSB. We have a growing downtown area recently infused with new restaurants and small craft breweries. We are about 1 hour from Lake Michigan, 2 hours from Chicago and about 30 minutes from Potato Creek State Park. If you are looking for recreation then look no further. In town there is a beautiful Riverwalk and a farmers market in both South Bend and Mishawaka.
We are committed to providing the best medical and surgical care for our patients. In addition to our staff, we have other tools to make your practice of veterinary medicine easier. We have a surgical laser unit, a therapy laser, ultrasound, digital dental radiographs, digital radiographs and in house laboratory. We are a paperless practice and use the Clientrax software system. There are computer terminals in each exam room, in the major areas of the hospital and the doctors offices. Additional services offered to clients also include grooming, boarding and puppy classes.
