Grace Animal Hospital in Gastonia, NC is looking for an experienced, full-time Hospital Manager to join our leadership team. Process-oriented individuals with a background in veterinary management and client experience will thrive in this position. Implementation experience, Avimark knowledge, and Microsoft office experience is a bonus! This position will help create a collaborative yet engaging work environment and share our commitment to providing exceptional client service and veterinary care to our loyal clients and their pets. 

The Hospital Manager will be responsible for operational oversight of our hospital, including the leadership of the technician and receptionist support teams; managing financial and business development of the practice, including managing the budget and key performance indicators; and overseeing client care and communications by mentoring support staff to demonstrate exceptional customer service.  The Hospital Manager will always lead by example and maintain a professional attitude. The Hospital Manager will be responsible for the hospital's success in the following areas: patient care, client and staff retention, controlling expenses, top-line revenue, and overall profitability. 

Grace Animal Hospital is a large, multi-doctor practice with 6000 square feet of space and 7 exam rooms.   The building was constructed in 2019 as a Fear Free design hospital by veterinary architect Peter Hill of HDA Architects.  The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, large hospital surgery suite with Hepa filtration and positive flow ventilation, in hospital digital x-ray capabilities, dedicated dental suite with dental radiography, ultrasonography, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and an extensive in house laboratory.  Our work family includes three veterinarians, three registered veterinary technicians along with veterinary assistants currently pursuing licensing, and an experienced client care support team.  

Gastonia, NC has been recognized nationally as an All American City.  We are located just outside of Charlotte, NC so there is easy access to city life including professional football and soccer, dining, live concerts, and Broadway entertainment.  Gastonia is also centrally located in the state with easy access to both the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Atlantic Coast.  We are just minutes from the US National White Water Center and our city boasts numerous outdoor parks for hiking, biking, and kayaking.
