The Pet Emergency - Clinic & Referral Center in Spokane, WA is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to establish a small animal surgery service at our busy and growing emergency and specialty hospital. We are the largest privately held, veterinarian-owned emergency and specialty practice in the Inland Northwest.
Several specialty services are housed in the hospital and include internal medicine, oncology, emergency and critical care, and radiology offering ultrasound, echocardiography, and CT services (Inland Empire Veterinary Imaging, www.ievetimaging.com). Our emergency medicine department medical staff includes a board-certified criticalist and an abundance of fully trained support staff (licensed veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, kennel attendants and a full reception core). The emergency department is open 24/7/365. We work closely with and highly value our referring general practice veterinarians in the community. The hospital has an in-house diagnostic lab, digital radiography and ultrasound. Access to specialist ultrasound, CT, and flexible/rigid endoscopy is available on weekdays. We also have an on-site blood bank.\

We are looking for a full-time surgeon. Applicants must be: residency trained in small animal surgery or board-certified with the American College of Veterinary Surgery. Starting salary is negotiable but considered highly competitive for the region. A signing bonus and relocation package are available for this position.
