Enjoy a wonderful work/life balance in our modern, privately-owned, well-equipped and well-staffed small animal hospital in Urbana, Maryland (just outside of Frederick).  This area offers great schools, family-friendly living, loads of outdoor activities and easy access to Baltimore and DC for city life as well.  We are a newer and rapidly growing practice that focuses on educating and building long term relationships with our clients.  We practice very high quality medicine and have the team to support you.  They will make you want to come to work every day as we truly are a family.  We keep a little slower pace with high staffing levels to allow for building those relationships and a comfortable caseload.  Clientele is well-educated, and allows for complete work ups.  Many specialty hospitals are also available locally. Management is proactive and responsive and we are organized, well-run and appreciate and respond to staff input.  We are fully equipped with in house lab, digital X-ray and dental X-ray, ultrasound, fluid pumps, complete anesthetic monitoring equipment, class 4 laser, tonopen, plus much more.  We offer a 4 day (32-36 hour) work week including 2 Saturdays a month (8-12). No on call or emergencies.

Maryland license. Basic soft tissue surgical and dental skills.  Strong medical and communication skills. Must be a team player and enjoy working with others
