Hyde Park Animal Hospital, located in Chicago, IL, is looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team! 

 

 

About our Hospital: Hyde Park Animal Hospital was built in 2010 and is a larger facility offering additional services outside of general practice. Our hospital is a full-service, small animal hospital that treats dogs, cats, and exotics. 

 

Our practice is fully equipped with in-house laboratories, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, and ultrasound. Our doctors perform a variety of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries and dentistry as well as a rehabilitation room, underwater treadmill, and a cold laser. Our Associate, Dr. Andreu performs acupuncture and chiropractic care. We also offer boarding, grooming, and daycare. Lastly, our location is paperless and uses eVet for electronic medical records. 

 

Most importantly, we have phenomenal, experienced support staff who are crucial to the success of patient and client care. We are a tight-knit group and enjoy keeping each other well-fed with frequent potlucks. We also support our community by volunteering at vaccine clinics throughout the year, examining local university students' pets, and participating in career days!

 

Our doctors usually work an average of 35 hours/per week. Two of our doctors treat a variety of exotic species, including pot-bellied pigs, but it is not a requirement to treat anything other than dogs and cats.

- 1+ years of experience preferred, but not required

- Illinois Veterinary License – active and in good standing
