About the Position Do you have a commitment and dedication to improving animals' lives through providing quality medicine, embracing Fear Free values, and administering excellent care? If so, we have the perfect job for you! Staff veterinarians are responsible for the medical care of animals at the Maricopa County animal shelters. As a team, we collaborate to ensure the wellness of the animals in our care, treat injuries and illnesses, and perform high-quality, high-volume spay/ neuter. We are also responsible for writing health certificates for out-of-state transports and administering rabies vaccines to in-house animals and privately-owned animals during vaccine clinics.
