Miller Clark Animal Hospital in Mamaroneck, NY is looking for a Veterinarian to join our team.
We are the oldest general practice in Westchester County and the 6th oldest still active animal hospital in the US. We are a staple in the community, so we have long term, well-educated clientele that are excellent about following recommendations and doing all that is necessary for their pets. Miller Clark is also proud to be AAHA accredited, Fear Free certified, and Cat Friendly.
Our hospital is fully equipped with digital x-ray (including dental) with all radiographs sent out for interpretation, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, a full dental suite, an additional exotic dental set up for small mammals, Cardell monitors at every anesthesia station, and an in-house lab (CBC, Chemistry, SNAP tests, in house T4). We also have access to 2 internists, a cardiologist, and 2 surgeons who come in and perform any advanced diagnostics or surgeries as needed.
New grads are welcome to apply! We have a dedicated mentor program for new grads. You won't ever be on your own during this period and after the training period, you will always have a doctor on call for backup or advice! Our medical director loves teaching and prides himself on training new vets without stressing them out. We mainly see dogs and cats, but some exotics and pocket pets are seen, although it is not a requirement.
At Miller Clark, we take the health and well-being of our employees seriously, offering flexible working conditions and encouraging a well-rounded work/life balance. We offer a great compensation package, including a competitive salary, health insurance, 401K, PTO, generous CE allowance, additional PTO for CE, substantial SIGN ON BONUS, and reimbursement for membership dues and license fees. If this sounds like a team you want to be a part of, please email your resume to Paul Grimes at pgrimes@petvetcarecenters.com or apply at https://www.petvetcareers.com/.
