May Veterinary Clinic North is a small but busy practice seeking an Associate to join our 4-doctor team. We are a family owned and community based small animal hospital and have been in business over 50 years. We have loyal dog and cat pet parent clientele and well as see several university students and their pets.

Our team is very close-knit team with tenured technicians and experienced doctors. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual able to work well with current staff, pleasing demeanor with owners and pets, and willing to be involved in community outside of the clinic. We welcome experienced or new graduate DVM candidates. Our doctors are open to a new DVM bringing their experience and interests to the clinic. And, all our doctors have the experience and are eager to mentor a new graduate.

Our doctors work 4 days a week and only minimal call (occasional weekend for boarding pets only.)

May Veterinary Clinic boasts:

A dedicated surgical suite, treatment area and onsite labs and paperlite records. We have strong referral relationships with surgical and specialists nearby in Birmingham and at MSU. And our nearby sister hospital has onsite Ultrasound and laser.

About the area:

Tuscaloosa offers lots of sporting events fun including college football (War Eagle and Go Dawgs). Our area also offers great outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and watersports on lake Tuscaloosa. There are great restaurants, shops, and a beautiful river walk. We are also within easy driving distance for fun day trips throughout Alabama like to Birmingham or Gulf Shores, to New Orleans, LA, the Florida panhandle, Atlanta GA, Mississippi, Gatlinburg and Nashville, TN.
