Paws and Claws Animal Clinic is a full service Veterinary Hospital. The comprehensive services we offer include pet health exams, dentals, low cost vaccinations, diagnostics, radiology, dermatology and surgery. We see cats, dogs and some small animals. Our clinic is open 6 days a week and our trained staff and technicians will give you expert care and advice to ensure your pet remains healthy throughout the year. We would love to meet you and get your pet started on a lifetime journey of good health
We are expanding and are looking for 2 full time veterinarians to work our fast paced practice in our new location.
Dr.Michael Sauer graduated from the University of Georgia and has owned and operated Paws and Claws Animal Clinic for 5 years.
We are a facility that features client based patients as well as working with Rescue organizations. Equipped with isolation ward, general population kennels, intake facility for rescue based work, exam rooms for client based procedure and fully operational and spacious x-ray suite and surgical facility.
Either part time or full time is accepted and negotiable.

Veterinarian responsibilities primarily consist of examining animals, diagnosing any problems, and treating any health issues. They must also educate pet/animal owners on the proper care of their animals. Occasionally, these professionals need to be prepared to euthanize animals. Other veterinarian duties may be similar to those of a human physician and may include:
- Prescribing medication
- Operating on animals
- Cleaning and dressing wounds
- Administering vaccinations
- Testing for diseases/medical issues
- Using various kinds of medical equipment
