Animal Emergency and Specialty Hospital of Byron Center officially opened in December 2021! Our sister location, Animal Emergency Hospital, is a rapidly growing 15 doctor, 24-Hour hospital. Over the past three years, our emergency service has grown exponentially, and we are excited to have opened a second hospital location that will be adding multi-specialty services. This growth has been associated with our exceptional reputation with our referring veterinarians and the booming economy in Grand Rapids. We are currently recruiting ER DVMs at our new hospital, with the option of working at both hospitals if desired.
We are interested in speaking with experienced ER DVMs, internship trained DVMs, and new grads or GP DVMs who have an interest in emergency medicine. ER Mentorship is available!
Our team morale and employee engagement is unsurpassed, supported by both our staff and doctor retention. Our team members appreciate our focus on prioritizing work-life balance. We have a fun and collaborative team of experienced ER veterinarians to support you!
Take advantage of all that Grand Rapids has to offer, including trend-setting beer, food, and music scenes. If you enjoy beverages, there is much to offer in Beer City USA with the craft breweries, cideries, specialty coffee shops, and wineries. The city is the perfect size to offer all you need, but easy to get around in. It is minutes from the beautiful Lake Michigan beaches. Grand Rapids offers all four seasons, allowing for maximized outdoor recreation and family fun.
If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply online or send your CV to Destiny.Cavanaugh@nvacompassionfirst.com. Take the next step and apply, you will not regret it!
