VROMP is looking for a Practice Manager to join our team!
The Practice Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations and is critical to the success of the practice. An ideal candidate for this role is someone who will develop a positive culture built on shared values. This person should be able to provide direct communication, create operational efficiencies, and problem-solve to improve client service and employee engagement.
The Practice Manager oversees the business activities of the practice. These include:
Human Resources: Plans, organizes and optimizes all personnel activities. Hiring, training, development plans and performance reviews.
Finance and Accounting: Works with management to prepare and manage budgets. Reviews P&Ls, oversees payroll, accounts payable/receivable and inventory, and monitors key performance indicators. Identifies opportunities for investments with strong financial returns and profitability enhancement.
Client Relationship Management: Promotes a client centered environment. Provides excellent service and implements processes to meet client needs. Able to resolve client issues.
Marketing: Oversees referral, client, and social media marketing activities.
Facility and Operations: Ensures compliance with critical safety regulations. Monitors critical software and client records to ensure they are consistent and correct. Manages the daily schedule so that practice business objectives are met. Oversees supply ordering. Implements safety and security procedures.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
Associates or bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) is desirable but not required.
Work exposure to all aspects of a business enterprise, with demonstrated competence in budgeting and financial reporting and in staff management.
Minimum three years working in a veterinary practice.
Work experience in a veterinary rehabilitation setting is ideal, but not required.
