Countryside Animal Clinic of Sterling, VA is looking for a full or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join our practice!
Our clinic is dedicated to creating family bonds with our clients and patients while providing excellent care with advanced equipment. We offer extended appointment times (40-50 mins) to allow for client education, partnering with pet parents to enable an informed decision for care, and promoting the human-animal bond. We have a very successful wellness program and routinely perform advanced dental treatments and surgical procedures like laparoscopy. Our DVM team is friendly, supportive, collaborates on cases, and encouraging of work-life balance. We currently have 5 Veterinarians, 3 LVTs, and several highly skilled assistants. Some of our dedicated team members have been with our clinic for 20+ years. We are looking for an Associate DVM with strong communication skills who is personable and proficient in general medicine. We see mainly dogs and cats, but do have a few ADVMs who see exotics as needed. A passion for complicated cases, surgery, and or dentistry, or a doctor who brings a new skill set to our team (acupuncture, rehab, etc), with a willingness to train / share, is a plus.

What we are looking for:
- Positive and friendly personality
- At least 1 year of experience
- Ability to build client relationships and deliver excellent customer service
- Willingness to share knowledge with other vets & support team
- Ability to do routine surgical procedures and dental extractions
- Competence in ultrasound is a plus
- Must be able to work alternating weekends – clinic is open Saturday 8 am until 3 pm.
