The Emergency Veterinarian assesses patients that present with urgent conditions, performs emergency procedures, and monitors their recovery process. The Emergency Veterinarian cares for animals that are suffering the effects of physical trauma, shock, respiratory problems, cardiac problems, neurological issues, or other severe injuries that require immediate and intensive veterinary care. Key responsibilities: Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of pets; primarily dogs and cats Examine animals to determine the nature of disease or injury and treat animals surgically
