Mt Tabor Veterinary Care is seeking a Practice Manager for our growing veterinary practice with unique culture and emphasis on compassion, honest communication, integrity, dedication to growth, and respect.
This position is responsible for all aspects of accounting and financial management including budgeting, financial reporting and analysis, inventory analysis, as well as practice organization, staff support, payroll, and compliance with all applicable labor laws, facilities maintenance, and OSHA. This position will work closely with the owners, the team leads, and the office coordinator, and requires excellent interpersonal communication skills, emotional intelligence, and a dedicated, positive attitude. This position will be a steward of our culture. Experience with Non-Violent Communication or Mindful Compassionate Dialog is preferred but not required, as specific training in these fields will be provided and required.
The successful candidate will have proven competence in accounting, staff management, payroll, competence in problem-solving and conflict resolution, sound judgement in decision making, ability to operate effectively and independently in different roles with a variety of people, ability to tactfully demonstrate "take-charge" capabilities, and willingness to occasionally work uncommon hours for business emergencies.
This position must have at least 3 years of general supervisory experience. Candidates with experience managing a veterinary practice preferred and ideally will have a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager designation. Competitive salary commensurate with experience and generous benefits offered.
