Amazing Associate Veterinarian wanted to join our team of dedicated and compassionate professionals at Mount Carmel Animal Hospital. We are seeking an experienced veterinarian to join our practice part-time or full-time. One of our doctors will be retiring, creating an opportunity for a new associate to join our thriving practice. We are a busy small animal practice with a reputation for excellence in veterinary care.

Our staff includes six veterinarians who work together in a collaborative environment focused on being a true partner in care for our clients and patients. We have a stellar reputation with a very dedicated and compliant clientele. Our support staff is dedicated and knowledgeable, committed to teamwork, and focused on providing superior care and service to each and every patient. With a high support staff ration, our doctors are able to use their time to deliver maximum benefit to patients.

The ideal candidate will be client-oriented with strong client education skills, excellent clinical skills, and be a dedicated and enthusiastic team player. Prefer candidate with 3+ years of experience in general medicine and surgery, and will consider enthusiastic recent graduates with exceptional clinical and communication skills. Proficiency in ultrasound preferred.

MCAH is a modern, full-service hospital featuring two surgical suites, an isolation ward, IDEXX in-house laboratory equipment, in-house pharmacy, digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, cold laser therapy and underwater treadmill. Our support staff is well-trained, dedicated, and passionate about providing excellent medicine to our patients and superior service to our clients.

We are located in the Hereford area in beautiful Northern Baltimore County and convenient to Baltimore, Carroll and Harford Counties, as well as Southern York County.
