The Hospital Administrator will provide leadership and is an integral part of the hospital team. In partnership with the Practice Owner they oversee a profitable operation driving revenue, creating a culture offering the highest quality patient care and offering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include managing overall operations of the hospital and creating a collaborative team environment.
· Develop and lead support staff and professional team members. · Partner and assist with the doctor team, medical team and client service representatives. · Provide all performance feedback and training of all hospital personnel. · Review performance of direct reports, deliver feedback, resolve personnel issues and conduct reviews. · Staff retention and recruitment. · Manage schedules for techs, DVMs, Support and administrative staff. · Achieve/maintain labor goals. · Guide financial and strategic business development to achieve profitability. · Budget creation and financial reporting. · Ensure financial information is accurate, responsible for accounting functions. · OSHA/safety, ensure compliance with laws and regulations. · Inventory Management. · Manage HR related issues. · Knowledge of state, federal, local legal compliance of relevant employment law.
At least 3 years of veterinary hospital management experience.
CVPM Certification preferred
